The President of Pakistan has approved the transfer of one judge each from the Lahore, Sindh, and Balochistan High Courts to the Islamabad High Court (IHC). Following this approval, the Federal Ministry of Law has issued the official notification. President Asif Ali Zardari sanctioned the transfers under Article 200 of the Constitution, after which the Ministry of Law formalized the decision through an official notification. According to the notification, Justice Sarfraz Dogar from the Lahore High Court has been transferred to the Islamabad High Court. Similarly, Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro from the Sindh High Court and Justice Muhammad Asif from the Balochistan High Court have also been reassigned to the IHC.
