Motorway cop faces attempted rape case
A case has been registered against a motorway police inspector at the Daska Saddar police station on the charge of attempted rape of a girl in his vehicle. As per the FIR, the incident occurred when the victim, a resident of Lahore, was returning from Daska late at night. According to the complaint, a person claiming to be an officer approached the girl, offering her a ride to Lahore in his car. However, as they near Dhidwala, the suspect, Muhammad Imran, allegedly began harassing the girl and attempted to rape her. The victim made a commotion, prompting the suspect to forcibly remove her from the vehicle. The girl, speaking to the media after being taken to the Civil Hospital by the police, described her ordeal as an incident of molestation on the motorway. However, Imran denied the allegations.
