Pakistan to host first-ever under-23 World Squash Championship in April

Following the efforts of legendary former world champion Jahangir Khan, Pakistan has secured the rights to host a major international squash event, Express News reported. The inaugural World Under-23 Squash Championship, under the auspices of the World Squash Federation, will be held from April 6 to 10 in Karachi. The tournament will feature both men's and women's events, with a prize pool of $600,000. Top 32 players from around the world will compete in each category, and the winners will earn direct entry into the PSA World Championship. Former world champion Qamar Zaman will serve as the Tournament Director, overseeing the event's organization.
